About Me

This is the tricky page where I have to try not to sound too boring, so please bear with me.

I lived in Tonbridge in Kent for most of my life, but recently moved to a gorgeous village near Wells and Glastonbury in Somerset where I am bonding with our neighbouring herd of cows.

I’ll answer the usual question asked of writers: What were my favourite books? The Faraway Tree books by Enid Blyton; then the Famous Five books, and after that I don’t really remember. All I remember reading as a teenager was Forever by Judy Blume (I think it was compulsory in year 7!) and then the very strange and very rude Secret Diary of Laura Palmer.

I spent more time writing very long, detailed (and probably very boring) entries in my diary. I’ve always loved writing and have started many novels in the past, but a few years ago I made it my new year’s resolution to actually finish one, and I stuck to it. I’m very glad I did.

So now, I write and live at home with my husband, Chris and two lovely daughters, Rain and Jude; a big soppy mastiff, Ziggy, and cats Tigger and Tinkerbell.  When I’m not writing or doing housework (blurgh), I run a website, www.oshun.co.uk selling very cool clothes for people with individual style. I’m spending more time blogging on this website and also I like reading, drawing, painting, fiddling with photos on the computer, teaching myself electric guitar, going skateboarding when there’s no-one looking and kickboxing (you’ve been warned). I am also enjoying discovering the history of our house and keeping busy with renovating it. So that’s me!
Ps. I believe in fairies!
