I still haven’t worked out what to do when I grow up! I’m mainly a writer, an artist, and a fairytale dressmaker with various crafty hobbies! Here (and on YouTube) I share bits of my life, thoughts, and what I’m learning along the way. Let’s find magic and inspiration; join me for this creative living adventure!

Jubilee Fashion

Are you having a street party or a get-together with neighbours to celebrate the Queen’s diamond jubilee? Or are you off to London to support Team GB in the olympics and would like something patriotic to wear? I’m afraid this is a shameless advert for the Union Jack dress I’ve made and is for sale on my etsy shop, OshunCreations.

If you’re after some ideas for the Jubilee, this is what our village is getting up to…

We’re having a massive communal lunch where everyone brings a plate of food to share; punch and judy shows, a musical parade through a couple of smaller village streets; bouncy castles and an inflatable gladiator thing; tea and cakes in the afternoon and hog roast and bands playing in the evening. All fundraised by the people of the village.

I’m in charge of the fancy dress competition, so if anyone has any ideas for famous people of the last 60 years, please let me know as I still don’t know who my youngest daughter is going as. (My eldest has a fab idea, but it’s secret!)
