At Glastonbury 2008 on the Pyramid Stage
To be honest, I only heard her whilst walking down the side of the pyramid field and then from the general environs of the cider bus. However, I saw and heard enough to know she put on a damn good act. I’m not a particular fan of her music, therefore I didn’t stay to watch; but maybe I should have done. She chatted to the crowd and seemed to get a really good atmosphere spreading. It’s one of those acts that maybe I regret missing; I’m sure I would’ve enjoyed it had I stayed. She just seemed to have that knack of getting the audience on her side whether or not you love the music.
