Castle-an-dinas

An Iron Age hillfort near St Columb Major, Cornwall.

I’m back from my holiday!! I had a great two weeks travelling accross the south of England; going from Kent; all the way to Cornwall, and then taking just over a week coming back again. So I had plenty of opportunites for more reviews! Much of the holiday was spent researching the Iron Age, so if you’re interested in that period of history, then stick around on this website.

I’ve also started a new section under Reviews, for things to and places to visit; I’ll be moving some of my old reviews that will fit into that catagory over the next few days. For now, it starts off with my visit to Castle-an-dinas, a hillfort in Cornwall.

Face to Face

by sandra Glover. Published by Andersen Press.

Someone once said to me ‘Don’t you just hate it when you start reading a book and then realise you’ve read it before.’ I looked at her blankly – surely that would never really happen; surely you could never read that many books! But it happened to me last night. This is what I remember about Face to Face by Sandra Glover.

Blaggers

By Echo Freer. Published by Hodder Children’s Books. ISBN 0340875682

I picked up several cockney rhyming slang words I didn’t know before from this book! I finally finished reading through all 6 Harry Potter books so I could get on to Blaggers by Echo Freer, which I got out the library ages ago and have renewed 3 times now. So this is my review.
